Hardware oxidizes?

And just to confirm, has anyone used the one for gold on rose gold hardware? And if so, are you happy with the result?

I just notice on my birkin a strange thing on the hardware. It looks like on of the small dot is rusted.... Anyone as experienced something similar before?




On another hand, I saw this on an birking and as I did not have that on mine I was wondering what was the meaning.

I’ve looked numerous times and I don’t see anything? Maybe someone else can chime in or you could post another pic and circle the issue?

I tried to take out a clearer picture but it is definitely hard to get it but it is the upper right circle. Ther other looks paladium but this one seems black.

Hm I can kind of see what you mean. I would try a jewlery cleaning cloth if you haven’t and then if that doesn’t work maybe try popping into an Hermes store? I’m sorry I don’t have more advice. Hopefully others will chime in

Looks like tarnish, try a polishing cloth (or qtip). As for the sangle hardware, that’s a hallmark symbol H puts on gold hardware.

So it means that it is actual real gold? Is it something special? I never read about it

It’s not anything special. If it’s a GHW bag, it’ll have that mark. PHW bags will not.
