I'm in bed with Covid, for the third time, so not the best Christmas... But, never mind, there are worst things in life!!
. I truly hope & pray you have a full & speedy recovery. I spent Christmas in bed last year with Covid so I really feel for you my dear. I've had Covid twice so far, and just getting over the flu. So in 12 months, I've been sick 3 times. It's not fun. I hope this forum is a place of refuge for you as it has been for me when I am sick. Godspeed to recovery

Dear duna, we are all sending you healthy vibes so you may make a very speedy recovery. Nothing is more important than health.
One of the worst Christmases was when I was 12. My entire family was ill with virulent flu apart from me, so I cooked the entire Christmas menu by myself to try to help out - only for no no-one well enough to eat a mouthful. Now it's funny - back then it was a disaster. I hope I've cheered you up with my sit-com family moment.

Poor you, it must have been tough!We've postponed everything: Christmas dinner (I've frozen everything) presents, the lot! Now my kids are all going away with their families, so we'll probably have our Xmas on a weekend when school starts again. Oh well....

I had managed to avoid birthdays and holidays with my 2 previous Covids, so the third time round had to be on a special day, lol
Thank goodness there's tPF!
I also had covid during xmas. I think I got it in Paris. Started having fever on the 22nd and of course it reached xmas. Good thing I didn't fly back to my parents.Happy Holidays everyone

I think there's still a lot of Covid around. I only had a fever on the 24th and 25th and I'm better already, but it was enough to change our Xmas plans! Also I've heard people say that this winter's flu is worst than Covid. I must have SOME antibodies: after 2 previous infections, the first in 2020 and the second last March and 3 vaccinations I' m surprised I can still catch it!
