I spent years wishing I was bigger but finally got over my "runt" status lol. My parents were once professional bodybuilders so my entire family has always made fun of how puny I am in comparison.
I’m 5’2 115 lbs. My son is 6’5 230lbs ( body builder). Every time we go somewhere and we do photos he rest his arm on my head. I am right at his arm pit. It’s actually funny, no one believes his mom is that small until you see us together. We look a lot alike.

Heh. My husband and daughter can commiserate. Hubby is 6' 4", and our sixteen-and-a-half-year-old daughter is currently 4' 10.5". (I'm between them at 5' 5".) The pediatrician thinks daughter will reach 4' 11", but does not think she'll reach 5 foot. If that happens, as the pediatrician predicts, then she'll still end up one foot and five inches shorter than her father.

Personally, I have two reactions to the whole thing ... 1) People think she's younger than she is based on height alone, which has some advantages for a number of years, and 2) Understanding that she's adopted, I always say their height difference is just God's little joke on my husband. And hey, the teachers at her kung fu school refer to her as "small but mighty". So there ya go.
