Happy 20th Birthday to the Bayswater

I had an old one in oak, not from 2003 but in Darwin leather. Just the other day I came across a bargain, the most beautiful darwin oak leather Bayswater. A few things on it that I hadn’t seen before so got it authenticated. I am over the moon as my new old oak Bayswater proved to be from 2003!! A true little gem in my Bayswater family!

Question for all of you: did the NVT Bayswater tote come in more than one size?

I have one that I bought relatively recently secondhand, and it's got a 7.5-inch handle drop and measures H 11.5 inches, W 19.25 inches, D 6.75 inches. It's big enough to hold books and a laptop. I'm seeing one in Oak advertised on another sale site that has a 6.5 inch handle drop and is smaller in all dimensions, especially the width, which they provide as 12.5 inches. It looks like it could make a great little handbag.

20 years since I got my first. I have my favourite, the regular in oak, an old Darwin one, dark and rich in colour. Also regular size I have a chocolate, an oak croc embossed, a green one, and an oak “for Mac”.
I have an oak SBS, a choc Piccadilly, a black East West and a black Bayswater Tote.
Maybe I should get myself a 20th anniversary one?
Hi, how does the “for Mac” version look like? I am very curious! Thanks!

It looks from the outside just like the regular Bayswater, but there is a padded pocket/ sleeve inside for your laptop.
After seeing your picture, I started to look for one. Look how lucky I am! Received this beauty today! Just a small question: there is one letter on the back of the made-in label, and I was told authentic mulberry bags always have 2 or more letters… I don’t think this bag is fake but is it the same in yours? Thanks!

Congratulations on a beautiful bag! It’s just like mine.

As I am preparing my 2003 Darwin Oak Bayswater for the winter, I started to think about how many of them was actually made in that first year? Does anyone know?
Do you have a pic of yours? I just got a pre-loved that I believe to be early years (maybe 2003) and was curious! Mine didn't have the label / disc inside but in authentification thread they said the early ones didn't but I don't know what year mine is.

My 2003 one is identical on the outside to the others I have (they are 2008,2010-11-ish), what sets her apart is the hardware inside the bag. The zipper pull is different and the “belt buckles” are plain, no logo on them. No brass disc inside and no made in-tags.
