I wonder how many of us have made an emergency run to the pharmacy tonight to buy some tape for our bags. Of course I will have to make an emegency run to the H store to buy a scarf :yahoo:since I do not have one. What a shame that I have to go to the H store:wlae:

I wonder if the twillies grab the wrap better than without? I have bought twillies to do this, but they slip and turn and get all caddywhompus (technical term). I am going to try this! Thanks docride!!

YEAY LISA! I thought I was the only other person alive who used Caddywhompus!!

Doc - you are my hero! SO much knowledge and so generous! Thanks again!

Hey C!! You know, this might be a good way for you to add a pop of red to your black Birkin until your dream red one comes along .... Here's a red/black Twilly from H.com....

Docride, this is such a great tip, thank you very much. :ty:
So I wrapped my birkin handles as suggested, and oh my goodness, I can really feel the difference. It's really fantastic.
But, over the weekend as I was carrying the bag around, I wonder if I should unwrap the Vetrap once in a while to let the handle 'breathe'? Or can I leave it wrapped forever? What do you think Doc?
Many thanks... :flowers:

I wouldn't leave it wrapped forever.. I would redo the wrapping every so often... As for the leather needing to breathe I wouldn't worry too much about that... unless you live in a very damp climate, they should be ok...for several months at a time with out worries:smile1:
