Handbag of the Week for me is my Poon of Switzerland. Loved this bag until it started peeling at the edges.
Was supposed to be saffiano leather but is instead split leather with a saffiano like coating over top.
Stopped using it as I was disappointed but got a partial refund on it.
Repaired it this weekend by putting a leather glue on the peeling areas.
I still like the bag.
Will see how I feel at the end of the week.

Time flies . . . Stopping in for a quick post to get back on reacquainting myself with bags I already own lol.
I have been using this since Sunday, with rain and all. Coach Pocket bag , circa 1990. Gorgeous tomato red. I just enjoy looking at it on my desk!

I will be honest, the red Pocket bags have been few and far between. What I enjoy is that it was the opportunity to get a vintage red bag in like new condition. There is some fading on one side of the flap and because the seller wrapped it bubble wrap to ship instead of using a box, the tight wrapping left little indents on the flap! I learned after that to ask sellers (for bags in very good condition) in advance for a box and offer to pay extra.

Mulberry Tessie Hobo.

It’s a great winter bag. Huge volume inside for shopping trips. Thicker yet slouchy leather which copes well with the winter weather. Style looks good with heavier coats and boots!
