Ive been waiting almost a year- and paid in full 😩I was originally told 6 months, but hopefully I’ll get them next month at the latest if the wait was supposed to be closer to ten. Hope yours arrives soon as well. I have the bracelet and love it!

So very frustrating, and I know it will definitely be my last order. Too many other great pieces out there to give VCA an interest free loan for a year.Ive been waiting almost a year- and paid in full 😩
I think hammered gold has gotten really popular. But it seems like a lot of stuff is just unavailable or a long wait. I remember when you could get almost anything a couple years ago.Why do we think hammered gold has such a long wait?! It cannot be that difficult to make...
It wouldn't take long if this is the only piece that the artisans have to make, but they also have other creations on their list, on top of HP, SO/MTO orders. Why do we think hammered gold has such a long wait?! It cannot be that difficult to make...
I’m going to be honest from discussions I’ve had with my SAs. I think they’re trying to act like Hermes here. So only certain artisans can make the hammered gold vintage size pieces (sweet is another story). My SA in europe said the last time they received a hammered gold 5 motif was last September. I’m number 31 on the waitlist. If they’re recieving one a year I will supposedly wait 30 years. Even if one/two artisans focussed solely on hammered gold, The hammered wishlists could easily be cleared within a year but VCA doesn’t want that. They shouldn’t try to deceive us into thinking these are not mass produced products - they can be ordered on a website. The bracelets are not even fully handmade anymore and this whole situation is just artificial scarcity.I think hammered gold has gotten really popular. Agreed, things have certainly changed. I recall my SA telling me back in 2021 that the hammered gold pieces were hard to get and I just ignored her comment thinking I would add it a later date. I do regret not getting it back then. I am certainly starting to feel turned off from this brand because they are deploying the Hermes sales tactics on their customers but I haven't totally banned them. Lol. IMO, hammered pieces would be the basic items that should be stocked on a regular basis. I've noticed that the guilloche pieces are more readily available or available within 3 - 6 months timeframe though.I remember when I bought my hammered YG bracelet it was so easy to get but that was over 10 years ago….. How things have changed 🙄
It seems like VCA wants us to purchase other items, guilloche being one example. They've made plenty of these instead!I've noticed that the guilloche pieces are more readily available or available within 3 - 6 months timeframe though.
Yes I've noticed this too and it's really annoying becuase hammered and guilloché are completely different vibes. I want a bracelet i don't have to take off whether i'm in the office or a music festival/club. I'd wear hammered for both but guilloché is too dress for the second situations 😅🤭It seems like VCA wants us to purchase other items, guilloche being one example. Yeah. I agree. The buying experience is so different from 10-12 years ago when I started. Any boutique usually had multiples of the same colored five motif. My first five was hammered RG which I thought was really boring and almost sold. Luckily my Mom loves it. Then I just bought whatever I wanted and put off tons of purchases that I thought would always be available. Was I wrong. No regrets though because if I didnt take the plunge I didn’t want it that much. But still. The lack of options is shocking to me.I remember when I bought my hammered YG bracelet it was so easy to get but that was over 10 years ago….. How things have changed 🙄
Yes it’s definitely changed and not for the better, I’ve forgotten if I got the hammered YG or onyx bracelet first, I think my first was purchased in 2011 and prices were much more realistic neck then…… I didn’t buy any VCA for years because I was content with what I had but lately I’ve become obsessed with it again 🤣Yeah.
