Hammered Gold Alhambra - Still a long wait?

When guilloche came out, I wondered if the hammered would become scarce? I prefer hammered hands down to guilloche.....

I debated between the two as they are both beautiful. However, it came down to being carefree, scratch-resistant and looking like brand new each time so hammered won my heart.

Anyway, I called just now and found out that both the 20 motif and single motif necklaces are pre-order items with a full payment. Whereas the 10 motif, bracelet and earrings are at the moment sold out but can be put on a wishlist. Meaning, when they do come in, the SA will contact you…
These are for the yg. Their rg is not as scarce. Some can be ordered now she says.

I have an order in for the bracelet and am waiting to order the 10 motif in YG. My SA is aware of what I want and will inform me when it is available to order. But it is a bummer as you say! I have had to wait on almost everything that I own.

Same here too. I waited for all my hammered yg pieces. On the brighter side, your bracelet is coming since you already placed the order and your 10 motif should follow as soon as your SA notifies you it’s available to order.

Last week, our SA informed us that we needed to pay in advance for the RG 10 motifs necklace and vintage size earrings. He also mentioned that the earrings will take longer due to scarcity.

My YG hammered pendant took a month minus one day to arrive.
My BFF however ordered a 5 motif the same day and she still doesn't have hers.

I find it shocking that one of their mainstay items is now so elusive. That just seems crazy. VCA has become confusing to me, and I don't understand their marketing practices. I'm thankful to have more or less everything in the Alhambra line I want. Now, if I could just get my hands on the lapis. Like that's ever going to happen.
