Yes it does! You can wash suede as well. I have lots of suede, and I love it, but it's no good on the bike. The leather is more wind resistant and water resistand, so that's why we wear so much of it . You asked me asked me for a pic of some we have done, so I just responded with that one. Not trying to rub it in! lol! It's just a MUST on the motorcycle. Protects our own hides too if we ever go down, God forbid!

I'll try to wash a suede jacket I love but cannot wear any,ore because of the... let's say time marks on it. The same procedure as for the bags you described above?

Yes, just dunk it in the bathtub with luke warm water and you will freak when you see all the dirt that comes off in the water. I use a mild detergent like Woolite or even dish soap. Then rinse it real good and hang it to dry, but you must dry it quickly or it can mildew if it stays wet too long. So aim a space heater on it, or put it in the sun on hot day. Works great! Then when it's dry you brush it up with a suede brush and it's good as new again. The only thing I don't do this with is boots and shoes because of the soles materials. Won't work for boots or shoes , I don't think, although I have never tried, so not sure.
