Hi,
I bought both of these Hamilton Outlet versions and can't decide which color hardware to keep. I wear both silver and gold...and sometimes even together. LOL - I don't want to keep both, because I want to get a regular Hamilton or another style for my second bag. I would really appreciate any opinions or advice. Thanks!!!

The gold looks more bold in this pic. Silver seems more understated. Both are nice but keep the one that you will have more jewelry to match.
I only wear silver and platinum so my choice is easy and always silver. ; )

LOL, I had the EXACT same dilemma awhile back with the EXACT same 2 purses!
And just this past week I was second guessing my decision and wishing that I'd also kept the other one haha.
Anyway, for me I went back and forth for about 2 weeks before I ended up just keeping the ghw. My mom and daughter both chimed in and liked the gold better plus I have the hamilton weekender in black with ghw so they looked good together if I was traveling. But, I really still do think about that shw one and wish I had it.

IMO, the gwh looked more dressy and the shw more casual. But both are gorgeous!
And from your pics the ghw is standing out more to me.
It's a tough decision, I know!

Do you already have other black bags? If so, what color hardware do they have? If you don't have a black one with one color hw but you do the other, then that should help sway you. Those are some of the questions to ask yourself.

Oh my gosh, thank you SO much for the input! So you have/had the outlet versions too? Or regular Hamiltons? Because I'm wondering how they are as far as using them is concerned? Do you like it? I'm so torn, I'm a horrible shopper because I'm so indecisive! :smile1:

Yep, it was the EXACT same 2 purses - outlet versions.

I have both kinds - some large n/s Hamiltons and a few of the outlet versions. And I really do love both sizes/styles.
And actually I think I love the outlet versions maybe even a little bit more. The size is absolutely perfect for me. They're bigger than the e/w Hamiltons but not as big as the N/S Hamiltons. They're the goldilocks bed of Hamiltons for me - JUST right!!!
IMO the outlet version Hamiltons are quite classy and b*tchy looking too lol.
They look more crisp and streamlined to me without the locks that the other Hamiltons have.

Ok, so, it's settled...you are my handbag kindred spirit! ha ha! I thought the EXACT SAME THING! That the outlet Hamiltons were the perfect size, right in between the N/S and E/W!!! Great minds think alike I suppose. And I agree on the classy, b**chy look too. They also seem a bit more structured and "clean". Ok, great, so now I'm wanting to keep both....here I go again! :lolots:

In my personal opinion I think gold hardware on handbags looks more classic, and timeless.... And it still looks good if your wearing white gold jewelry! So if I had to choose I would say Gold!!!

Style Passion, you are not along when comes to being indecisive on which handbag. The first time I saw the Outlet vertion of the Hamilton, I was in love, and "just" had to have it the black, I had not made up my mind on which color hardware, I just knew I wanted one. I really liked the center zipper section and the name place on the front of the bag, makes a nice change from the lock. I traveled to my local Outlet, about 1 1/2 hrs away. By the time I left I had purchased 2 other Hamilton's, both were the "retail/lifestyle" version, with the lock. Over the next couple of weeks I have see several outlet versions of the Hamilton in black, at Marshalls & TJ Maxx, cheaper than the Outlet, and I have still not purchased one, because I keep finding other MK bags/Hamilton style that I want to add to my collection. I did purchase the tangerine, ostrich embossed Outlet Hamilton version, from TJMaxx for $179.99 but sold it to a girlfriend, she kept trying to convinece me that I didn't need both versions of that Hamilton, I was not convinced, but aftet a couple of days I sold it to her, only because I found the gunmetal Hamilton outlet version, however, after a couple of days I returned that one. To-date, I still have not purchased a Black outlet version Hamilton, and I have 8 other Hamiltons, all with the lock, that I LOVE! Either one you select you will enjoy. Recently, I like to make sure which ever bag I'm using for the next couple of days, my watch ties back to the hardward, but me & MK watches is a whole other story :D, can we say "obsessed". Good Luck on your selection, when all said and done, you may end up with them both, as each bag provides a totally different look.

Ha ha! This is hilarious because I too, am currently obsessed with MK watches as well. I got the MK5353 in silver and have the MK5076 in silver and can't decide if I should exchange one for a gold MK5055 or another style gold watch! I even bought a rose gold cheapo watch to see how often I would wear it before I also invested in an MK rose gold watch too! As for the Hamilton...I just love both versions...the retail/lifestyle version with the lock and the outlet version with the nameplate. I just can't decide which color combos in each, so I'm stuck with those until I decide on keeping both or switching one out for another style or not. :smile1: Thank you SO much for your input!!! So, out of the ones you currently have which one do you like/use the most? Just curious...and thanks again!
