Hello, Hamilton lovers! Sorry if you already know this news, but the Hamilton is NOT being discontinued...sort of. I saw the revised version of the large N/S Saffiano Hamilton earlier this week in Dillard's. It it slightly shorter than the N/S, but still taller than the E/W. A middle zip compartment was added, and, the shoulder strap is now removable. I saw two new shades; one blue (can't recall the color) and the other coral, both with silver hardware. The coral is STUNNING and will definitely be a new member to my collection.

Excited!!

So it looks like they are introducing in the United States the large version of the Hamilton that was originally sold in Europe. It is exactly as you described. To make room for it they probably had to clear out all the older n/s Hamilton totes. I ordered this newer version with the center compartment from Farfetch last year, but had to return it because it was too small for my needs. The center compartment took too much space away from the interior of the bag for me to be able to fit my things in it.

You know, the middle compartment will probably be a pain for me too, come to think of it. I kind of like the big open "dump" space.

And correction to my original post - The current colors in the Large East/West Satchel (no longer North/South Satchel) are Steel Blue, Black, and Dark Dune. All available on Dillard's right now. I'm sure more colors will follow...

I'm glad I have my N/S from 6 years ago. I would not be happy with the middle compartment being added. Looks like I won't be purchasing a newer style if I decide to get another
