I'd get the gold hardware with the luggage! I carry a lot of LV bag's so perhaps that is why I am partial to the gold hardware. I am purchasing this same bag for my Fall Bag!!
This will be my fall bag!!!! When are you buying yours?
I hope to get to the MK store next weekend to make my purchase! How about you? Make sure you get the MK rain guard, it's about $9.00 but well worth it! It really makes a difference on how long your bag will look like new!!!, and you can use it on all your other band bag's as well!
I wear mostly silver or white gold and yet I just purchased a quilted luggage Hamilton with gold hardware because it's just so striking...it's really gorgeous...who cares what I normally wear, cause I just had to have it...and I saw the luggage with silver right next to it and it just didn't have that "pop" to it. The gold just seems to be a perfect hue...and so classy!
I'm buyingine in Saturday!!!! Does the MK rain guard leave water spots on the bag? I'm so afraid to use anything because I used rain guard on an MK hobo last year and it left spots!!!! Any help you can give would be great!!!

Oh no! sorry to hear that. I use it on all my MK bag's, they sell it in the store and recommend it with a bag purchase. I would mention to them that it stained your bag and see what they say, it's worth a try.... I have used it on my Black and Blue Hamilton's and a monogram piece and have never had a problem... Please post a picture of your new bag on Saturday!!!!
I say go for the gold, too. I've always preferred white metals in jewelry, but in recent years I've developed an appreciation for gold, as well. I have three Hamiltons with GHW and two with SHW. I chose each metal because of what I thought looked best with the bag color. I agree with the posters here who think gold looks better with luggage leather. When I wear my GHW bags, I have a few pieces of gold jewelry on hand to wear if I feel like matching. Even though my wedding set is white gold, all the yellow gold just seems to enhance it. I also have a few pieces of two-tone jewelry, which would be an option for you as well. Happy deciding and enjoy your new Hamilton!

I had this exact same delima when I was purchasing my Luggage Hamilton last year. I vote for the gold hardware. As it's been said here, the luggage is a warm color and the gold (also warm) compliments it beautifully. I too wear silver and white gold almost exclusively, but I'm not one to match my jewelry to my handbag hardware. So, I would definitely get it with gold hardware!!! Let us know what you decide.

I would vote for the gold hw for the luggage hamilton. Although I adore silve hw and own two hamiltons with silver, the purple leather and the black I own have silver but on the luggage I would say gold looks stunning and rich!
