HALO SETTING - Gap or No Gap??? Please help

I vote no gap. It looks prettier. Gap looks a little "unfinished", you know, like something is missing.

I'd say no gap, I think it looks nicer. But, it's your ring and you have to love it, so do what you like.

I have a "no gap" halo ring (the center stone is blue topaz and it's surrounded by diamonds).

I prefer the no gap look. It looks finished, polished, and sets the center stone off more.

i have to say gap...i like the look better with a gap

i have a halo setting and mine has a slight gap...i didnt like the way mine wouldve looked with out a gap...im posting a pic...this isnt the greastest pic of it but you can tell i have a gap...

i think having a gap makes the ring different...but you ultimatly have to go with that you really love!

I vote no gap. Like someone else said, the gap makes it look like the halo was made for a larger stone.

I prefer NO GAP. I think stones with a gap don't look as well made, kind of like you just plunked a stone down in the setting. When it has NO GAP, it looks custom-made. This is just my opinion, though!
