You know, you're right - I just checked the link, and it says it was removed or no longer available, and that usually doesn't happen for something that sold normally.

So - four, or five? No way to know at this point. We'll just keep on doing what we do.;)

I'm relieved that the buyer apparently won't be out $710. The thought makes me sick--so many of this same fake Knot have been listed lately.

Mousse, thanks for checking up on it to let us know it was cancelled.

I don't think this bag is fake
I can't say it is real either
I have never seen a bag like this before
with that being said I have not seen a lot in my lifetime
this bag like prestwick says could be pre TM

the tag looks real to me
just my 2 cents

We should collect photos of the signs of a fake bag and have a sticky thread with all those photos ... just a thought. I'm not awake yet, might even been one.

I lusted over that bag in black quite a while back in time at a local dept. store. That is how I am familiar with it.

I stayed quiet on this one. I thought it was fake also because of the tag...just based off of the information I've read about spotting fake BV bags. However, when I looked at the bag itself, everything looked okay. Unless it's a blatant fake, I will defer to those with more knowledge. These counterfeiters make my head hurt!

The fakers have become very good at some of the details. And with the older bags--BV has changed tags, zippers, zipper pulls, fonts, so It can be really hard to know what's real and what isn't.

I'll bet if any of us could examine a bag in person--touch it, etc., we could determine real v. fake, but from 2-dimensional photos, it's tricky.

I'm still suspect on this. I have several pre TM BVs and have never seen this tag before, nor this bag style. The font on the tag does not match any of my older tags - it is 'wider.' There was an era in the late 90s, pre TM where there was no tag. What first alerted me was the texture of the leather. It just looks odd for BV. The handles and the way they connect to the bag look a lot like the cabat. I don't recall seeing this handle pre TM. Just sharing my thoughts. Let's see what happens.

Mousse- that bag is Cervo..that is why the texture looks not as smooth in intreciatto. Take a look at the Vivo Cervo Tote. It has the same texture..
