Hall of Shame - Place for BV Fakes to report

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

The operatives have multiple IDs and that is why the people tasked to see to the investigations are collating a list of probable suspects as we speak. They (sellers) obviously migrated from iOffer back to eBAY where they originally are based as there are sightings of the similar goods having been offered making appearances on eBAY.

SO.... can you please post these ID's so others can avoid this seller?? Were you the buyer?

It is fine to post seller IDs, but please no personal information like name, email, phone number, or address...that is against PF rules.

iOffer has never been a reliable place for authentic anything...best to avoid altogether than take the risk.

I realize fakes are sold on eBay too. It dismays me that they are getting better at copying. We need to know the fake sellers' ID's. Yes they can change ID's, but at least it will take time away from selling at least one fake.

OP.... you gave the ioffer ID. Very much appreciated. But, please understand that far more pfers buy on ebay than on ioffer. There are members here well versed in ebay reporting who can assist. But, more than anything, sharing the Selling ID's greatly assists in preventing other members from being scammed by the person. TIA

For the whole ugly truth, read and discern for yourselves:-

PAYPAL confirmed that there was no refund EVER made to the buyer.

FYI-Seller is currently still active on eBay. However, should one opt to pay via PAYPAL the following are noteworthy:-

Details as follow on iOffer:
Merchant: April Krasner
Charge will appear on your credit card statement as 'PAYPAL *APRILSHOWER'
User ID of Seller: lisasworld1970 (13)
Seller's Email Address: x
Seller's Name: x
Seller's Address: x

My sincere apologies if too much info. was provided. I am not as well versed in PF's rules so do pardon me...jburg & boxermom thanks for the caution. What seemed more crucial was to bring them sellers, the main culprits down is all that was the impetus of the prior comprehensive detailed post.

I am doing this as a favour unto a friend so...Nay, am not the buyer. There's info already to lookout for whilst one opts to pay via PAYPAL on this seller & when invoiced to keep a lookout for them.

Forgive me, but you lost me...?? Yes, you posted the merchant name which will show up when.. or after... a buyer makes a PP payment. But, is that really necessary? You disclosed all of the seller's personal PP and ioffer information. Is there some reason you cannot also post the ebay ID's as warning to potential buyers, rather than a buyer simply have to figure it out on their own AFTER they bid... or pay... for this scammers merchandise???

Yes, there is indeed a sound reason that prevented me from divulging. Like I said there are multiple IDs on this seller on eBAY and I trust the relevant authorities tasked on this to get whatever they need done. Meanwhile, I did what I did to caution others on a friend's encounter on iOffer & jburgh kindly cited & reiterated regulations that I am now aware of to abide by. So... yes, I'd take your advice in PM and do the needful as & when I am sanctioned to do so. Thank you.

To clarify.. you have been advised by "authorities" not to divulge the ebay ID's? But these authorities did not have any issue with you posting the seller's ioffer ID, PP info, Merchant name and all of her IRL personal info?
I certainly would have thought they would advise you that posting a person's IRL info in such derogatory manner could result in charges of libel.

In what way was my posting all that 'derogatory manner'-ed? Anyhow, it has since been edited by the moderators. You are a party so keen on me PM-ing ebay IDs of this seller & that too may well result in violations and being sued for libel. I've asked you then what was your suggested course of action & you have not raised any. When the sole impetus is to herald an IRL encounter of a con-job on a aution site that is enhancing awareness. Under posts on fakes sold on ebay I see many subscribers also guilty of posting email addys to serve as warnings so others will not be victimised, they aren't immediately side-lined and informed that thus doing will lend them in hot soup & charges of libel?

If someone were to sue, my friend's case of being swindled will certainly have more weight in the light of events that have transpired. Pardon me, but I gather you are approaching it all from the perspective of the law, that I appreciate however just like others citing how they've been cheated online, I have done so likewise. This is about dishonesty prevalent in such auction sites. The victim in question that may I add is a dear friend of mine & could well be anyone here in this community, faced with a similar seller.

You have stated your viewpoints, well and good but I don't think there's any more need to pursue this matter when as mentioned before, I've highlighted the victim's case for the interests of potential buyers to be aware & tis up to them to heed alarm bells & beware of dubious characters.

Whilst I appreciate your insights & caution, I think tis wise to leave like I've said, those tasked to do their work & in time the information you and many others seeking will be made known i.e. the seller's ebay IDs in question is of much interest. As boxermom explained, as soon as such a case is brought to light, making known the ebay ID will at least see one seller dabbling in counterfeit wares taken down, this will never happen overnight as I am sure you're fully aware. I am keeping the faith that whatever the verdict, all will be satiated. I know I will ;).

Ok...enough. This thread is for reporting a link to a fake...namely eBay auction fakes so people can report...hence the wording in the thread title "Place for BV fakes to report." Please get back to topic. If you have issues, take it to PM. Thank you.
