It was sent from the seller to Vestiaire for authentication and I guess it's supposed to be authenticated... but yea, when the time comes I prob need another authentication!

VC just like other big and generally trustworthy websites that do their authentication have all had fakes slip through before. It never hurts to be extra careful.
I used to have a 32HAC (black box with GH) and loved it! I only decided to sell it once I had my 30 Indigo because they were similar and I didn't think I needed a black bag. I regret selling the HAC for 3 reasons:
1. it was gorgeous!
2. it can fill more than the 30H but is not as heavy as a 35B
3. It was lighter than a 35B and didn't seem like luggage (which the 35 always did on me) -- it still looked like a handbag.

The square turnlock on hac 28 and hac 32 was introduced around 2004 / 2005, prior to this date they had the round turnkey, around 1995 onwards, however the hac 28 and 32 are now discontinued and may be available on special order only .
Obviously the initial description came from the vendor.
VC authenticators should have immediately flagged that it was a HAC not a B.
They probably just checked the condition and that it was genuine Hermes.
This is yet another example of unreliable QC from VC.
To be honest and fair to VC, more than once, its QC has flagged problems with bags that I was in the process of buying.
My 2009 HAC 32 purchased from H boutique has a square turnkey. It’s surprising that the website misidentified it but if you love it then enjoy. 
My SA who sold the bag to me repeatedly mentioned during our interaction that the bag I was buying was a HAC since I kept saying Birkin. It made no difference to me then or now. The shape actually works well for me.
