Japan and Indonesia both have the same premium price for Birkin. In my opinion, wherever B is available in H store just grab it fast, it is not about price, it is about opportunity. We feel different if we buy it in H store compare to reseller.Yup and thanks for pointing that out, Footlocker.
Not to mention we are talking about 30cm and not 35cm! Told DH to just drop and let go!
I Totally agree with you, just back from Singapore and surprised how prices are more expensive there

Personal experience at Jkt's H located at PP. The first item that i bought were a scarf and then while paying, asked bout Lindy/Kelly/Birkin. The manager of the store told me i can put my name in the waitlist for Lindy and wrote down my name.
Went back to the store for my 2nd purchase, which is a bracelet n try to get more information bout how to get a Birkin. The SA (the same SA that served me when i bought my scarf previously) told me i have to spend around 100juta which is equivalent to about USD 10k on their H products excluding bags.
He told me he can jump the queue for me if i buy their so called exceptional pieces such as the Arceau Skeleton watch or their jewelry. Ended up buying the watch thinking i'll get my first Birkin soon. He told me i can get it in 6 months max. That was around Sept 2013
I was actually looking for a size 30 Birkin as i was quite petite. The SA did offer me some Birkin such as Birkin Club and Ghilles but size 35. Come to think of it, he offered when i asked him for updates. He didn't call n offer like he promise to.
At the same time, i wanted to queue for another Birkin for my mom so i ended up buying 3 other watches to put my name in the waitlist. When i msg my SA for updates, he told me he'll notify me as soon as there's size 30 Birkin. He actually told me i'll be the first priority.
In the waiting period, i did manage to get a toolbox, a lindy and a herbag. Few days ago, i asked him for some info n still get the usual answer which is "Size 30 Birkin is hard to come by". I asked him when was the last time they receive a size 30 Birkin. He told me it was around 3 months ago.
When i heard that, deep inside my heart was so broken. I felt cheated by his empty promises. He then told me that they currently stop the waitlist for Birkin because there are too many demands while they are short of supply. I told him i thought u could prioritize me because i bought the exceptional piece? He told me he proposed my name to his manager but was rejected cos the manager gave it to some other buyer that bought an exceptional piece of item too.
I was so disappointed n i can only hope that they'll offer me something soon besides the club/ghillies which my SA know i don't want.
Besides feeling disappointed, i felt ashamed of myself for being so desperate and naive.

Nope, i asked my SA which item is exceptional piece. He showed me that Arceau Skeleton so ended up buying that. From the way u're asking me i assume u think that they arrange their priority customer by seeing who spend the most in buying their exceptional piece?
H in Pacific Place is my local H store.
If you bought exceptional item it should be easier for you to jump up first on the list for a B, diamond or no diamond. Did you ask for a specific color or just any B in size 30?
You have to bear in mind that shipment can be very very late sometimes.. As in., they havent even received all the Bs and Ks they ordered from last season.. There are also orders from 2-3 seasons ago that they havent received.
So maybe the B30s that they received were already spoken for somebody else before you made your exceptional item purchase..
Also if manager(s) decide to give a B or K to somebody else (like their own clients for instance) there's absolutely nothing SAs can do.. Its annoying and frustrating i know.. But that's the way it is..
I really hope you get your B soon. I was trying to pm you.. But somehow i cant..
Ooo suddenly i remember how much is arceau skeleton, yeah i think you should be able to get something from them, shipment in jakarta is very very late, sometimes my SA says that they haven't received anything from the last two months. It's quite difficult to get specific color of B or K because they don't get many stocks from paris and also since B and K famous in indonesia, everyone throw money in H store even to a reseller. This is like a competition, the amount of money you spend is the key to get a B or K. But i think you should be able to get a B or K in the next shipment, just make a relationship with your SA so he/she can tell you personally what's coming in the next shipment.

KeeKeee, my SA told me size 30 is rare. They normally have size 35. Is that true? Btw, i'm new in this blog. How can i pm u? Or add someone in the friend list?

Birkin in general is rare but i dont think it makes birkin 30 a lot more difficult to get than birkin 35.. I am very sure of that. Only i think the trend now is most people chosing size 30 over 35 so you compete with many other people on getting size 30. Keep asking your SA about your B.. but be polite though.. No good offending your SA since he/she is the one who's going to proposed your name to the director for a B or K..

You're welcome j3llyb3anzzz, it's actually not that rare because i remembered my SA told me that they have B30 Crevette in clemence. I think it was last month.
Awww....now that feeling is creeping back onto me.... that feeling of being cheated...
But i think i do understand why i wasn't offered as promised. Cos there's lots of big spender in Jkt and competition is strong!
