We are going to St. Barths in late January. Can anyone give me some insight in to the Hermes store there. Is there a nice selection? Any recommendations for SAs? Thank you in advance for all your input and help, it is most appreciated.

Everyone there is nice and because it is a tourist destination, they don't play "the game". Just enjoy browse and ask for anything you want (including a Birkin, egad). If they have it, they are likely to bring it out. The manager's name is Virginie. They seem to have a lot of the new brights like Iris and PINK and always have tons of exotic SLGs, belts and sandals. Don't forget to go upstairs.

Hi- We are going to St. Barts on holiday next month. Has anyone ever scored a birkin there? Is there a good SA there? And how are prices there compared to US? Thanks so much!!!

I was there over Thanksgiving. As I was walking into the boutique, the SM was putting away a Birkin 35 in Iris. I've been at there at different times of the year and they always have a great selection. I don't remember the name of the SA who took care of me, pnly that she spoke perfect Spanish. I'll check with my mother to see if she remembers. She was really sweet and helpful.

Oh that is so exciting!!!! I wonder if they tend toward bright colors......I love them, but I want a basic black, etoupe, ebene, gold for my first birkin. Eeekkkk!! I'm getting overexcited at the possibility of finding one there!!! Thank you so much for finding out!!! :smile1::D:graucho:

I was in St Bart's in Feb and walked on and asked if they had any Birkins. She presented it to me upstairs. 30 I'm Mykonos blur with white inside and on the bottom and back of straps. It was quite a bit less $ than the same size leather single tone I got in December in the US

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing! Great to know it was less, but I wished for you to have been offered a different one than the one you just bought!!

I'm hoping they will send a black, gold, brown, or etoupe to the wrong store....It sounds like they mostly have bright colors in stock.......I do not have any Birkins and truly need a neutral for life in NYC!!

They have pretty much every bag you want in the St Barths store and will offer if you ask. I have bought 3 Birkins from there in the past couple of years and at Christmas/New Year, when it is packed and full of hungry clients, they still have :smile1: They had a huge selection of croc accessories and bags at Christmas just gone.
They have all kinds of colours not just brights.
Most of the SA's come in from Paris over the holiday season and it changes every year but they have a couple of full-time/year round staff.

OH THANK YOU SO MUCH!! That is soo soo good to hear!!! Especially that they have all kinds, not just brights. I can see the SA's being more pliable if they are in St Barts on holiday. It is pretty much impossible to be in a bad mood when you are there!!
