Checked out Barneys.com but all I could find closest to it is the

First of all, let me say, you ladies are amazing!!! I thought I was the only crazy woman who went to see the movie TWICE, so that I could show my husband the bag during that scene, and then agonize over online search, not able to find anything.

Also, I am afraid that finding that Marc Jacobs bag will be super hard now, as it ihas been over a year since they found it in Barneys....

I actually just bought it, as I saw it by coincedence this weekend in a shop and loved the look and feel, and that is BEFORE I saw the movie. After the movie I decided I MUST have this look, and just bought the bag.

Good luck with the search, and again, it is SOOO COOL that we love bags so much!!!

The MJ bag posted is close but not it - the style in the movie had hardware around the top, if you take a closer look at the photo posted.

YAY! And you're right, mouseptrolix, we are amazing! As Vlad himself would put it, f***king amazing!

The zipper pull definitely looks like a collection bag rather than a MbMJ bag. My first thought was this family of bags from Resort 06. Or maybe something similar to them:

It was not the Faridah bag.

Gwyneth's bag had a vertical zipper on the side - you could see it when she had her back turned to the camera, and it was a big zipper - and gold/brass.

i found my original thread...lol

I wanted to say that my first initial impression was rebecca minkoff...the hardware on the bag reminded me a lot of the getaway clutch

Hi everyone,
Here is a picture of Gwyneth wearing a a bag that has a similar strap ( picture on the right)- from what i remember after seeing the movie twice it looked to me that the bag has a large gold zipper on the side and one strap- it is more of a thick strap like in a hobo. The zipper hardware is very thick metal.
