@Roms5: If you want to comfortably stack your LOVE and JUC, the JUC should be a size down - eg. 17 LOVE & 16 JUC
I have a 17 LOVE and a 17 JUC. I don’t feel comfortable wearing them stacked because the JUC goes over the LOVE and scratches the surface of the LOVE more than I can handle.
I bought my JUC in 2014 - when I went to the boutique I ordered a 16 but when I came to pick it up a few weeks later, it looked too tight next to my LOVE (I thought that maybe I had put on weight) so I asked to swap to a 17 JUC instead. Had to wait a few more weeks and then it arrived so I took it home. I wore my LOVE and JUC stacked for about 3 weeks before I decided to take off the JUC because the scratches on my LOVE were getting too crazy. I tried wearing my JUC on my left hand (as my LOVE is worn on my right hand) but it wasn’t comfortable so over the years, my JUC has not been worn as much as it should have. I have worn it intermittently but not for long periods.
Recently I decided to start wearing my JUC again - I decided I was going to use an Invisibobble as a spacer between the LOVE and the JUC but in the end, I decided not to stack my two pieces. I forgot how heavy the JUC is! But after about 5 days, I’m used to the weight and now I’m happy that I’m wearing the pieces individually (JUC on left, LOVE on right arm). I don’t plan to take off my JUC (unless doing something where it could get damaged).
I would say that if you are planning to stack your pieces, make sure they are one size apart for the perfect fit. If you are planning to wear them solo, then getting the slightly bigger JUC is okay. FYI, my JUC is slightly big for my wrist but because it is not next to the LOVE, it is not an issue.
I did go to the Cartier boutique last year to see if I could fit the 16 JUC and I can but I can’t and don’t want to sell my existing JUC because a) my partner and I bought the bracelet for each other so it has sentimental value & b) I prefer the old locking mechanism for the JUC as it just seems more secure.
I believe what happened on the day I first went to pick up my JUC was that I was really warm and my wrist was puffy. Had I still gone home with the 16 JUC, then you wouldn’t have had to read everything I just wrote lol.
But yes, really loving my JUC - I just feel bad that I didn’t wear it for so long! It’s never coming off now!
