I think it is a fun line. Shows Guccy is not too serious about themselves.
The first time I saw this design, I cringed.
I have been buying GUCCI products for over 12 years now, watching (supporting?) its style evolution, and this is just too much for me. I think it's the spelling that bothers me the most.
I had the orignal SEGA, for the record, so no issue with the choice of font.
Or maybe I'm just getting too old for this $#!@

I like it.....but I also have fond memories of Sega. My husband LOVES it, but then, he has been a video game freak since the beginning of time (it feels like!). My major complaint with this line is that, unlike other things we've seen from the AM era, Gucci didn't GO FOR IT. Why only the black and cream? Why not pop colors, and pop art-type shapes? If you're going to be fun, go big or go home. I want it to be more fun than it is....feels like Gucci is dipping a toe into the fun waters, but not getting all the way in.
I initially thought it was a horrible knockoff with a spelling error. The prices are ridiculous! My 25 year old daughter burst into laughter when I showed her the hideous "GUCCY" line so I'm not sure what generation/demographic Gucci is trying to target. I had both Sega and Nintendo and spent many hours wasting away in front of the TV but this line is pure GARBAGE lol!! Just cringe worthy!
Maybe Gucci was trying to gain more noise and notoriety for publicity sake? Isn't working? We're talking about it.
I also dont like the concept! I would think its a fake if someone was wearing it a few years down the line.

and there are def signs that Gucci is leaving the embellishment on bags and fashion jokes behind for next year.
I can't stop myself from laughing out loud whenever I see this in person. In my head it's 100% pronounced "guh-chee".
Gucci has this in a neon hot pink, shiny gold, and a medium hued blue.
I missed that! Where did you see the pink? Haven’t seen it in my Gucci store or online! I would love hot pink.
