I was actually born and raised in the Midwest in St. Louis, MO. Did you experience a huge culture shock moving from SoCal to the Midwest?

Yes and no. I was born in SoCal and lived there for a majority of my 48 years, but I've lived in 7 different states in the Deep South, Midwest, and Pacific Northwest, plus Northern CA...so at this point it's more of a "readjustment" than a shock, lol. It's been harder on my husband, who until he met me had never been outside SoCal!
