I have no experience with this but maybe you can give the store a call and ask for the handbag manager and see what he/she says. Most stores try to please their customers. Good luck!

It would help if you go back to the same SA who sold you. I exchanged something after 1 month of use but again I know my SA very well for years. Thats the downside to buying from boutiques. Give them a call and see , you never know. Good Luck !

I had my sister get me the gucci icon medium hobo in hawaii cause the tax is cheaper. However I'm having second thoughts about the size of the bag. Do you think I can return it if I'm in a different state? Also how many days if their return policy?

If your bag was on sale, then it's final. But if she got it for full price, then the return policy is 30 days. I'm pretty sure you can return it to a different boutique, but I've never done it. Can someone else confirm this? Return policy is 10 days for online sales merchandise.

hi all,

So I bought a belt online through gucci directly and it was the wrong size. Because I live in New Hampshire I don’t pay sales tax but we don’t have a Gucci store in NH, just one in Boston. I know I can return this but it says “gucci.com cannot accommodate automatic exchanges” but since I can return it to my local Gucci can I exchange there as well or just return it and rebuy with sales tax? Thanks ladies!!! ❤️

I think its because they have to inspect online returns. Thus, they wouldn't be able to ship it out asap. You can return it online, wait till your refund is confirmed and reorder.

Purchased a pair of shoes a couple of days ago, but now that I am home... I am noticing they arent fitting super well. I havent actually worn them other than to try them on. They were the rubber platform pool slides.

Do they have to be returned to the store they were purchased from- or can they be returned to a different store? The store I purchased them from was not the store closest to me.

This would be usa.

It will say on the paperwork the timeframe and the conditions for returns. In the UK it's usually 14 days with no questions asked. but exclusions apply (make-up, swimwear, underwear, hosiery etc) I don't know which country/state you're in so you need to check).

Usually stand alone stores will accept returns form others so long as they're in the same territory (all US, all EU-Zone etc). Online purchases, dept stores, other third party POS and airports even in the same country :no:

Thanks PT, I purchased from a standalone store here in the USA and would be returning to a different standalone store here in USA too so should be good, hopefully. The receipt has the return information, just doesn't articulate whether or not it has to be returned to the same boutique or can be returned to another store. Just purely says unused can be returned in 14 days. Thanks for your help.

My step brother bought a Gucci bag for his now ex girlfriend. He ended up never giving it, and he returned to a different boutique location, same city in the US. There was no problem with the return. I assume that he got his Amex credited back bc I told him at the time if he was only able to get store credit, I would compensate him and use it for something.

I purchased a bag last week at my local, Gucci store. I changed my mind since the bag doesn’t meet my needs. I took it back 2 days later (yesterday) and was issued a refund. Usually, my credit card receives the return ASAP and I’m notified ASAP. I checked my credit card statement online and I see nothing. Thoughts?
