Hi,
I wasn't really into designer bags but got hooked after I bought a Chanel. Anyway, I have a good collection ranging from beautiful but non designer bags, to contemporary designers like Michael Kors, Dooney&Bourke, Brahmin and one Chanel. I have some money saved. I am looking and really liking Gucci or Louboutin which I can get now, or another Chanel in about a year. That is what I really want but to get it I'll have to wait instead of getting a Gucci now.

So what should I do? I can get a beautiful Gucci or Louboutin now, or I'll have to save more to get another Chanel. The problem is that if I buy a Gucci now, Chanel gets pushed away even further . I don't own a Gucci or a Louboutin bag by the way. What do you think I should do?

I suggest saving a bit more and getting a Chanel Classic Flap. A Chanel classic can serve you for years to come, because the style is timeless. I can't say the same about Gucci because they keep changing their bag designs, and even the designs that have been reintroduced like the Jackie are heavily modified each time to keep up with the times.

And you can get the Louboutins after the Chanel.

I believe the center of your statement has your own answer.
If you dislike waiting so intensely, this may be an excellent challenge for personal growth? Building patience?
Whatever your decision, best wishes. :)
