I was also debating between these bags plus the Marmont camera bag (canvas version). I ended up with the Neo yesterday as well. It’s a little on the loud side which is out of my comfort zone, but decided to go for it since its pretty different from anything else in my collection. I tend to stick to neutral and timeless pieces. I do wish the strap was a bit longer for crossbody wear. I’m only 5’3”, and it sits up higher than I like, so I ordered a brass chain extender from Mautto.

Yes really loud but it's the best fit for me and my esssentials. I don't care what others will think I love my bag and will use it anywhere. The strap is so comfortable and doesn't hurt my shoulder although it's too short. I already have a marmont bag in black calfskin and eventhough the popularity faded I must say that it is one of the best bag that I have since it's the medium size. Gucci is cheaper than any of my bags but it's much more stylish and appealing because of its creativity and playfullness.

I did scotch guard on the whole thing, strap too. I am more worried about the strap pillig than staining. LOL

I haven't had any problem with the zipper I prefer it to be stiffer. I only used my bag perhaps 5x only and I the zipper is the same. My only prob is the gucci canvas, I didn't expect it to be malleable if exposed to the sun even in a short period of time.
