Hey guys!

I have decided to get a new bag:idea:, and I will go for a Gucci this time:nuts: and the two I've been eyeing is the Marmont mini and the Dionysus mini:confused1: (the mini because its in my budget). Its two very different bags and I love the look of both:oh:.. Which one would you guys choose?

I got the Marmont and plan to get the Dionysus next. Did you see the Dionysus has an all leather version coming? That's what I was waiting for.

no, i haven't seen the all leather version.. need to check that one out then. Im starting to think i will go for the Marmont because it seems to fit more than the small dionysus and looks a lot more comfortable with the leather part of the strap.

I'm in the same boat you are! I am lusting after the mini marmont in velvet. I had the chance to buy it yesterday from Neimans but didn't pull the trigger in time. Now i'm left deciding whether to get the small marmont in the black, versus the all black leather dionysus that'll be out in a month or two. I found the all black leather version on the Saks website http://www.saksfifthavenue.com/main...797CCD&Ntt=dionysus&N=306622828&bmUID=lAqrSCr

The price of this mini leather Dionysus is the same as the small leather marmont. I'm so torn.

They are both beautiful but I'd go with the Dionysus. I find it is a more distinctive special bag, and the mini size is gorgeous with the silver hardware. The Marmont is more run-of-the-mill and I have a feeling the gold hardware in this one is going to look outdated sooner.

I feel the golden GG's are too much 'in your face'. I like the style of the Dionysus better. That's why I bought it. ;-)
One other thing that I noticed (from looking online at the Marmont pictures): the sides on the Marmont are too 'open' for my taste. Even if the bag is closed there's an open gap on the left and on the right that I would find annoying. I don't know how to explain it but I hope you know what I mean.
