Gucci Marmont Line in 2023

My take on this is that it was extremely popular, a huge trend, and now it’s less popular on Instagram and YouTube because people are “sick” of seeing it. But that’s not real life. In real life, the Gucci bag I’m most likely to see is the SoHo Disco, which is so “out of style” that they don’t even display it in the store anymore. In reality, Marmont is still relevant, folks are still buying and wearing it. It’s only on the internet where influencers think it’s past its prime. Personally, I only discovered Marmont like 6 months ago, I think it’s art, classic.
If you look at unboxing videos on TikTok for Gucci, 90% of them are a Marmont camera bag to this day.

I think a lot f people love the Soho Disco actually. That's why the issued the Small Blondie as a substitute.

I agree about the Marmont, I think it's a very classic looking camera or flap bag for those that want a chain cross-body. Great for day or/to evening, small but still 'proper'.

Gucci is still producing seasonal styles and colorways in the Marmont line, which means they must still be selling enough of them. (The current lilac/silver and peach/gold colorways are both so pretty!)

Marmont is my favorite Gucci Bag. I see it as a classic and I think it is timeless. I have many and I always grab it when I go out because its so easy to carry and classic style!

Thoughts? Although I am kinda tired of seeing the black and gold I do like the round …. Are we over the marmont? Does it look passé?
