TBH this is a breath of fresh air after Frida's reign. Michele is trying to modernize GUCCI and make it a brand that is more relatable to the common person rather than only to glamorous celebrities.
Even if you personally hate the style you can't disagree with the fact that GUCCI has not exactly been very popular for the past few years. Michele's new direction has finally made GUCCI relevant in the fashion world again. GUCCI has been about overt sexuality for so long that it's so refreshing to see it take a totally different, softer direction for a change.

I agree, they are lovely, aren't they. I'm not sure my feet would be up such scrutiny but I think the sandals are so beautiful.
Totally agree with you! I haven't been into Gucci since 2009 and this collection brought me back. Michele won best international designer at the British fashion awards a few weeks back, I think. So in love I wish i could own it all. Genius!
It's been a while since my last Gucci bag, the horsebit hobo canvas bag which i sold a long long time ago. Until this line came out & i fell in love again.
