Personally I was disappointed. Rather a continuation of what we saw in the Fall collection. A lot of 70s boho with a mix of androgeny - but other designers have been there, done it, and much better.

Mostly agreed.

The retro edge had a lot to do with the styling and I actually loved some of the (less 'frumpy') clothes. Not sure about all the patchy stuff. I agree that Miu Miu, Paul Smith, Marc Jacobs, Anna Sui etc have done it before (x1000)

I already wear my scarves as turbans and hairbands so nice to be ahead of the curve :D

I did like the Floral Dionysus bags, I couldn't see the 'big cat' clasp bags properly but those looked okay too, I also espied a shopping bag that I didn't like that had the word 'GUCCI' on the bottom.

From the selection shoes I liked the less-vibrant colour glitter loafers (hated the mules and those lace-up 'things' - apologies anyone who loved them).

I'm hoping the rings are silver and not merely part of the 'fashion jewellery' range.

The weirdest thing were all the reasonably heavy looking coats, jackets and suits in a cruise/resort collection which are normally full of swimsuits and beach tunics :shrugs:

I totally agree. Michele is more of a stylist than a designer, and not a very good one at that. He clearly hasn't learned from Coco Chanel who suggested taking off the last thing you put on. It frustrates me to read all the awesome reviews of his collections from Style.com and WWD where Gucci has paid good advertising dollars. It must be hard to give a truly honest opinion when Gucci is paying their bills.

I thought Michele's appointment was supposed to modernize the house. Instead, the approach is like Hedi Slimane's with the "vintage shop" (and now apparently "Granny's attic") approach. But unlike Slimane's Saint Laurent, Michele's Gucci girl is not a cool downtown rocker girl. Instead, she looks older than her age and, frankly, quite dated.

Loving this new addition to the line-up although the price seems rather high, the new Gucci Animalier Leather Shoulder Bag.

Also some stunning new variations on the Dionysus.

And how about this new tote.

Now I understand why some Wintery pieces too. They hit the shops in Sept anyway so who cares? :D

Ordered my size RTW Cruise skirt today (seriously selling out of my size and the jacket it was paired with on the catwalk) and I really like the leather berets that are coming in.

I join you in your disappointment, I purchased a number of pieces from the 2015 Cruise Collection, some coats and dresses, I thought it was fantastic and there are further pieces I hope to track down from it that I regret not pulling the trigger on. But I just can't find anything inspiring this season, nothing is wearable, for me at least :blah:

I hear you! Personally, I don't like the direction Michele has taken Gucci. Miss Frida.
