And I must say I can't believe after ALL of these years paypal and eBay hadn't done anything about this "loop hole." Ugh!! Ok I will not make this into a paypal/eBay rant thread.

For all we know the buyer bought the bag to wear for the holidays and now wants to return it.

The problem is even if she find a different rep the buyer threatened to file a claim with her cc company and will possibly lose out on the money AND the bag. If the buyer doesn't like the next decision she still has the bag AND can file a claim with her cc company. The cc company will not make her send the merchandise bag. Unfortunately, I've seen people lose money and their product all too much on tpf. It COMPLETELY sucks this way but I agree with the rep that says she's better off with not dealing with that person. Hopefully she hasn't damaged the bag and will send it back in a timely manner so all of this can beover with.

That is what I'm afraid the buyer would do. Supposedly the buyer needs to return the gucci bag in the same condition it was sent but as we know that isn't always followed through. That's my concern because the buyer probably used the bag already. However hopefully it is in the same condition - crossing my fingers the scammer buyer has at least an ounce of decency to ship it back in the same condition.

My first and only selling handbag experience online soured me from selling more on bonanza or ebay. Too many atrocious buyers out there.

Yes, I'm really hoping this is a case of buyers remorse and the buyer just need the money back and will return it in the same condition. Although this could get stickey if OP no longer have the funds .

Hopefully the OP will update. I was really fortunate in the beginning of my eBay selling but in the end it just got terrible. I don't know why people have to be so shady!

This women is obviously a complete moron - I have the black leather with the light interior - my sister has the black monogram ,,, with big surprise,,, light interior. You are dealing with an uneducated buyer who is dealing with some new SA at Gucci that is also a complete idiot. Sad to hear you got caught in the perfect storm. I've been thinking about selling some bags on eBay but the horror stories just keep coming. I've always sold my bags with reputable consignment venues - I pay a little more in commission but never have these problems. Thanks for sharing - hope your bag finds a home with someone that has brain cells - that after all, should be a mandatory requirement of luxury bag ownership.

Which lining do you like the most? The tan/off white or the black with gucci crests on it? Coz I have the opportunity to buy one black ssima with the black lining but not much into it coz I really like the contast black/with white interior. Please help!!
