I just watched the Love Parade live on Kering's instagram stories. Right after, I saw merch celebrating their 100 years.
Based on the runway show and the 100th Anniversary items, I have to say: Gucci is totally fabulously MAXIMALIST.

In person this is great. They painted their Gucci Circulo pop-ups this pattern and so it will be ever thus associated with the centenary

Part of Gucci's long lasting appeal is all its links to horse tack and 'stuff'

These leather shoulder-pads are probably a nod to show-jumper (horse) knee pads or polo (rider) equipment and they are so beautiful made (perhaps that's why they cost the same as a handbag)
