Growing out of certain bag styles/color

Brand wise, I used to adore Coach when I started my handbag craze, but now I prefer different styles and higher quality. Stylewise, I haven't changed. :) I've always preferred more classic styles, knowing that the fun, catchy, crazy stuff will look dated faster than more simpler styles.

I think mostly everyone’s style changes as they mature.
For myself, I never was into bags. My mom and oldersister were and they would give me bags to use. One thing that I knew that hasn't changed is that I never liked bags that were too loud. I didn't like crazy colors, branding all over the place, or clunky hardware.
When I was younger I never carried a bag unless it was my book bag for school or special occasions where my mom would give me a smaller bag to carry.

It wasn't until I got older (early 20s), that I got into Longchamp and their simplistic design and functionality for college. I gave away a lot of the bags that were handed down to me by my older sister and mom because I hated having bags in my closet that were just taking up space, I knew I would never use them. From there I developed a love for softer leather bags and more classic styles. I have started building my collection based on my own tastes. In addition, I work in a corporate environment so I have a couple that are more structured just for work.

When I just finished my school, I loved hobo bag. Now, I prefer tote.

My love for crossbody is still the same although I wear it less and my love for backpack is now blooming and I tend to wear it more often.

My love for satchel remain the same.

Does anyone feel that their tastes change with age?

I don't care for any "bling" on a handbag. I like more simple bags now. Also don't like too many little compartments in bags.

Here's another thing: my vision is horrible now that I am getting older, so I prefer to find a handbag with a light colored interior; it makes it easier to see inside my bag and find things.
