Grey vs. Mink in the Bleecker Mini Duffle...

Agreed. The mink shade looks much greyer than midnight oak. Midnight oak has that luscious brownish depth to it. Mink looks "flatter" without much depth. Although, in all honesty and full disclosure, I did pick up the mink rhyder at Bloomies since they matched the Macys sale.

I like the mink color on rhyder, smythe, and crosby. But on the mini duffle, it looks even darker like it doesn't look brown anymore. Congrats on your rhyder!

Thanks. Well, Macys didn't have it in stock, so, I just sauntered over to Bloomies and there it was! I agree with your assessment of the the mink shade on the duffle, it almost looks charcoal while on the rhyder it's more browish-taupe. It'll be a nice neutral bag to carry during fall/winter & maybe even through spring.

I just got my mink mini duffle. Bloomies sent it in a BAG! Is that normal? I usually buy from Coach and the bag is usually in a box. At least it had all its factory wrappings and wasn't crushed. Not sure if I will order bags from Bloomies again though.

Anyway, I would describe the mink color as brown-black. It's very dark. It goes with my taupe booties, but they are lighter. My mahogany Coach Classic bags are lighter and more red. This bag will be more neutral. I would have liked it to be lighter, but it does go with my taupe booties and some of my dark brown pants and skirts.

I'm not sure how useful the color will be to me, but it's a mini-duffle, so I know it will get a lot of use.

It has a different lining than my other mini duffles, different creed patch without style number, different style white dust bag. The tag in the pocket has the numbers that used to be on the creed patch.

The Red Currant one I just received from Bloomies was in a bag - I was thinking WHAT!!?!? Everything was wrapped to the nines and bag was in perfect shape - go figure! I've have bought lots of bags online...all different sizes...different stores... seems to be a crapshoot as to how they actually send/pack them.

Honestly, it looks very similar to my black one in the post below. It just depends on the lighting.

I'll take a pic later, but I doubt the color will come through to give you enough information. It is just one shade browner than the black, enough to be confused with black. But it depends on the lighting. I haven't seen it in daylight yet.

So odd how it was shipped. I ordered a purple iris mini duffle from Macy's awhile ago and was impressed with how they packed and shipped it. May order a grey from there.

Sometimes it looks more muted than this pic, almost black.

I just got a grey mini to give as a gift. It is a pretty grey/ taupe color, looks like the warm grey color on borough but a bit lighter and has more of a taupe to it. I would take a pic. but it is wrapped.
I think you will love the grey.

Thank you! I went ahead and ordered the regular size duffle in mink from bloomies bc I couldn't resist the discount. If it's not love, I'll send it back! I was too curious to miss out on it!

You had me convinced to order the grey. But now I can't find it online at Macy's or Bllomies anymore, darnit. You snooze, you lose. It's still on Dillards site, but not on sale. Anyway, thanks for your reply.

I bought the grey mini awhile ago at Macy's. As you can see, I haven't cut the tag. I wanted a true grey cross body but I think this has a slight greenish tinge. I put it next to a vintage charcoal bag, along with some booties (Ariat and Born) so you can see the relative greys.

Greys can have such different undertones. It looks like such a pretty grey in your pic. But then next to the other items, it looks so different. I think I still want it. I noticed it's back on Macy's site again. I think if I can get an additional percentage off, I'll go for it. Thanks so much for posting!
