I have the mini duffle in black with grommets, brindle, and purple iris. I love the style when I don't need to carry the whole kitchen sink.

With all the sales going on, I'm tempted to get another, but I can't get to the store to compare the grey (not the olive grey) and the mink so would appreciate any opinions on the colors. I remember liking the grey last time I saw it, but I ended up passing on it. A pretty neutral but perhaps a bit blah? I think I've seen mink but can't remember if it is more grey, more taupe or more brown.

While I'm at it, any thoughts on red currant? Does it have a pink undertone? Hard to tell in pics...

I like all the colors you have chosen so far. I only have the black with grommets. If I didn't have so many small bags, I would get more. If its between grey and mink, I would choose grey. Mink is darker irl so it would be close to the black one. Red currant is also darker irl, and definitely darker than red currant on the borough bag.

Hi! I asked the same question in the clubhouse last week. I saw the mink in person since then and it is a dark brown (not rich brown) in my opinion. I haven't seen the grey myself but have read that it's close to a taupe color. I saw the red currant large duffle in person -- it's pretty but not as pretty as it appears in pictures. I have the loganberry mini and love the color -- wish they make it in the large size. Good luck deciding.

Thank you both for your replies! I was about to pull the trigger on the mink then decided I'd post here first for opinions. I'm glad I waited. I think I will pass on the mink and re-consider the grey, if any. Now I'm thinking I should save the money I almost spent and put it towards the Whiplash Tatum Tote I've been lemming instead. :smile1:

I have a red currant one that should be delivered this Wed. I'll let you know about the color and post some pix. I have not seen the grey or mink in irl so I can't comment on those colors. :smile1:

I received the red currant. It's a darker red than all the pix I've seen. I wanted a brighter red so it's going back. It looks more like a brick color to me. i love the mini duffle itself so might look into getting a new color. That's a bummer! Yep, It's not as vibrant as the pictures on the Coach website.

The mink regular size duffle I saw at Macy's was pretty dark -- to me, the midnight oak brown is a prettier brown than mink.

That's why it so nice to see reveal pix on here! It is such a bummer to receive an item and it's a totally different shade than what is depicted on their site. That's why I like to check it out on multiple sites 1st - in this case with the Red Currant it looked brighter in all the pix I saw. Oh well at least it's free shipping back.

Wow! Not the red I was expecting at all. While it's pretty, I was hoping for something a bit brighter as well, based on the pics I saw online. Sorry it didn't work out for you, but thanks so much for posting pics. You saved me from purchasing it, then having to return. :)

Yeah that's totally how I felt. If you want a bright, pop of red this isn't the bag for you! Back to the drawing board.... :shucks:

Agreed. The mink shade looks much greyer than midnight oak. Midnight oak has that luscious brownish depth to it. Mink looks "flatter" without much depth. Although, in all honesty and full disclosure, I did pick up the mink rhyder at Bloomies since they matched the Macys sale.
