That is fantastic news! Angelika is a lovely woman and has helped me choose many an item. The fact that they are enlarging it means they NEED to and the arrival of more bags would be wonderful.

A Chanel boutique will definitely give Saks a run for the money, lol. Should be interesting!

Thanks for this update. I have not been there in, oh, 3 months. A butterfuly scarf WOULD be perfect! This is my favorite place to shop, so I'll have to find out when the grand opening is.

So happy to read a thread with other DC TPF members. I love Angelika as well, I have known her for years, long before the H shop opened at NM, and made sure I went to her instead of the VA boutique to buy a scarf if I needed one.
Now it is like having my own personal mini H store, especially during the week when NM isn't busy at all.
I was away all summer, I must go and check the progress of the new boutique.

does anybody know which nm stores carry hermes in the us? thanks

Only Mazza Gallerie, the store we are discussing, carries leather goods, a small selection of RTW, shoes, jewelry, household items, and of course scarves. All the other stores carry scarves only.

Yes, Angelika has been working at the Hermes counter at NM for a long time. She now runs the small H boutique -- there are a couple of other ladies there as well, but Angelika is wonderful. She is the German lady with short red hair, you can't miss her.
