I haven't seen the grape in person but it seems like it will be a darker purple which I love. I just got the violet selma and hamilton (and have decided and been told by my fiancee to keep them both because its my favorite color). My question is do you guys know if the grape is darker, and if it will come on the sutton and/or the hamilton traveler in a bit. I sure hope so because then I wouldn't have any regret because I will get it in those two styles. Thanks in advance.

I have seen both and I chose grape because it is darker with a cooler undertone. More of a jewel tone.

I got the grape medium sutton. It's darker and less flashy/bright compared to the violet. It also seems more muted than the photo MK is using for it online.

If you are familiar with Coach Legacy Marine, it reminds me a lot of that color. It's a nice purple in good light/outside, but inside/dimmer lighting it's darker and not "in your face" purple at all. It doesn't have any blue in it, like I saw some people comment on. I prefer silver hw so was glad to see a purple with silver come out.

Hi everyone! Just got the grape sutton in small from the MK store - they just came in and they had other colors but i cant remember which colors other than grape - i am in love !!! Will get pics soon !

It is so funny because yesterday the SA at MK said it had blue in it when I was looking in the store. It is a very pretty color though and I know how you prefer silver hardware. Hope you are loving it!

I'm really glad I read your post and saw your photo. I was all for grape based on the color shown on different websites, but it definitely doesn't look as rich a color in your photo. I think I'll have to wait until I can see grape in person before I decide to order. I love purple and love that MK finally has a purple with shw, but now I'm wondering if grape will be the right shade for me. It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but I was thinking it'd be a deeper, richer purple like in the MK photos.

I agree, it looks like a deep purple but when I went to the store the first time it didn't wow me then I went yesterday with my violet and actually preferred the violet. Definitely a pretty color but I'm satisfied with the violet and would love him to come out with a deep purple.
