I'm so sorry for your loss. Your story toug is amazing, it's wonderful that some people are just meant to be together for the rest of their life.
This collection is absolutely gorgeous.

So sorry for your loss.

The Cinnabar is my favorite.. of course it would be poisonous! lol Can I ask what makes it poisonous?

So many of the other pieces are gorgeous as well!!!

ETA: I was so curious about the cinnabar that I googled it! lol I see the mercurial properties are what makes it toxic. Sad, it's so pretty!!

I know! My grandpa didn't even know that it was poisoness!!! I can only imagine how much dust he inhaled while cutting it. They can only sell fake "faux" cinnabar now and it's nowhere near as beautiful. I wonder how poisoness it would be to just wear it (keeping it away from kids putting it in their mouths!). :)

I'm so sorry for your loss. Your grandparents sound like a sweet couple and they are certainly very talented artists. I'm glad that you have so many beautiful things of theirs.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. The memorial for grandma is coming up in two weeks and I'm going to be scanning photos of her from way back when. They are so incredible. I'll post them here to share. She has this AMAZING set of pearls in one of the photos. She had such amazing taste. :)

I am so sorry for your loss! How sad for your family! Your grandparents sounded like an amazing couple, and they were married for so long! The stones are beautiful! The jasper one is gorgeous, all so unique, too!

you are so very lucky to have reminders of their love that you can wear, and know that they were created by your Grandparents together.

i have my grandmother's engagement ring, and it always makes me happy to think of my grandfather buying it...and he had Fabulous taste!

What a love story. It brings tears to my eyes.

Your Grandpa rocks, no pun intended.
