I vote Dinky, and the 24 size if you can swing it (butterscotch has been showing up in the sale on and off the last few days). I had the swagger and really wanted to love it. However, the chain really bothered me. Added a ton of extra weight, was clunky and uncomfortable. If it was just removable (i.e. dog leash clips like the dinky)....

If you didn't take the SA's 40% discount offer you definitely were not in love.

So have you've seen the Red Rogue IRL in either size yet? Imho, its Coach's prettiest red (of their myriad of shades).

PS - May I ask what the other brand bag is in red?
I haven't see the red rogue IRL. The other brand is Bottega Veneta. The red is called China red.

Glad it's not just me. I so wanted the swagger but couldn't use it with that awful chain strap

Both are cute! I think if your gf has been looking at the Dinky, maybe that's the one for her. Show her the Swagger pic and see what she thinks :smartass:

She says she likes the swagger because it reminds her of the Chanel boy bag (?) but at a reasonable price (at least for where we are right now)
As far as the dinky goes I don't know if she loves them because she's had opportunities to buy them at our local outlet for a great deal but she's never pulled the trigger

lol! I don't have either yet, but I've been considering the Mercer 30. That was until I saw the red Rogue 25. I love the Swagger shoulder bag but I think it is too small for me. The dinky does nothing for me because I've had the vintage version, which I think is nicer.

I don't think I have ever seen the vintage version but I am sure it's stunning

I've seen on other threads that the chain is cumbersome to most but then GF likes the weight of it because it makes it feel like it won't get damaged easily or break apart

Actually, I was referencing your general, seeming, love for the Mercer, I think? I've read some of your posts in the past that are praising Mercers...I remember once thinking "she's always praising the Mercer", like in people's reveals or when they ask for opinions....maybe I'm wrong? I can't stand either Mercers or Swaggers, so that's how I remembered it's one of those -- but maybe I'm combining your tastes with a few others, sorry...Senior moment time, hehe.

Apologies to itsjose for monopolizing your thread!

Are you considering getting the Red Rogue 25??

Haha that's ok I am having way to much reading y'alls opinions on the mercers and rogues. Although I do think the rogue (especially the brief version) is well constructed and luxe looking. Haven't really seen anyone with a mercer, so no opinions on that one
