So years ago... like 9 years ago, I was in Paris and walked into the Goyard at Rue St. Honoré and bought a Goyard St Louis PM in Black/Black and had a custom monogram put on it. The next store we stumbled into was on Rue Cambon, next door to Chanel, and it was Faure le Page. My MIL and SIL bought Daily Battle totes, but since I just ordered a Goyard I held back and bought a gun pochette.
Within months, my Goyard developed holes in the corners and I sent it back to Paris to have leather corners put on. Then over the years, I have routinely sent it to the cobbler for strap repair and to get the corners touched up. My Goyard is currently at Rago Brothers in NJ for handles, corners, and a patch of canvas that is wearing through.
I'm finally getting a Faure le Page Daily Battle tote in the Sand colorway for spring/summer. FLP is made so much better!
