From your initial posting, I understand that your girlfriend had hinted that she liked this snake necklace - is that right?
Is the tiffany necklace more or less expensive than the sabo necklace?

That is tacky as all heck. Even if she likes it now, she'll be over it in a few years. I'd return that one and get her the one she explicitly asked for (esp because maybe now her hopes are up). If you buy the anchor, put it in a huge or weird- shaped box, or with another gift, so she can't guess what it is.

Long winded but here goes...
I originally signed up in 2010 because I wanted to find a gift for my wonderful girlfriend for Christmas so I planned on asking a bunch of questions to find the perfect gift. I love giving gifts and I always want them to be perfect. She gives absolutely 0 hints what she wants.
I'm happy to say that when I joined this forum to find hints from you ladies on what to buy, it wasn't even our first year together. Now we're going strong on year four!
Over the years, I did get her a purse. This one from Saddleback Leather (NOT my picture);
In October it was her birthday and I recall her showing me a necklace she was looking at. I couldn't afford it this year but I love her more than you could know so I went out and bought the damn thing. She wouldn't give me ANY hints what she wanted. Then as soon as I fought the traffic, parking, pushed my way through the mall and bought it, got home and I got a text, "Okay here's what I want for Christmas; an anchor necklace."
I was so pissed...this was within an hour of getting her this necklace!
It's a Thomas Sabo and it wasn't cheap, lol. I was kind of pissed off how much they were charging for the thin silver chain, but it matches it, so...
The last necklace I got was a Tiffany horseshoe, our first year together. How does Thomas Sabo compare to Tiffany in quality?
Also, do you think it's nice, or tacky? I'll be honest, when she first showed it to me I laughed and thought it was hideous. But in person it looks a lot nicer.
I want some women's honest opinions if you'd wear this thing. I don't want her to hate it or her not to suit her. It's kind of hard to buy a woman a snake necklace without worrying that it might be taken the wrong way.
She's not the typical chick; she drives a 4x4 pickup, rides horses, will come out and shoot guns with me, drinks bourbon neat, yet she dresses feminine and spends a lot of money on her hair. She's a keeper. Oh, and she doesn't complain when I come home with a new gun.
Any opinion would be great. Also, I'm a kick-*** gift giver so let me know if you need some help finding a guy in your life a gift.
