Who is best for good cotton v necks (prefer w a print but plain is ok) where the v neck doesn't stretch out so fast?
Oh and they aren't sheer especially the white.
Tried Majestic filatures & the first time i hand washed it the neck got so distorted.
Tried RL, macys etc. They all stretch out.

Uniqlo, they have good quality cotton that isn't thin. Even after many washes for 2+ years one of my long sleeve shirts from them still looks great.

Lands end Pima cotton tops are great!

I have had some Eileen Fisher dresses I liked and they lasted a good long while.

I used to really like J. Jill, but the past few years the quality has gone downhill.

I like L.L. Bean or Orvis for short sleeve or long sleeve tees, pea coats.

I used to like Eddie Bauer, but again quality decline and they cater to younger women now.

If you are older, Soft Surroundings or Cold Water Creek aren't bad.

Pendleton has nice clothing.

I don't do any high end clothing shopping, mostly mid-range.

I like Uniqlo U, the permanent line designed by Lemaire for Uniqlo. The t-shirts keep their shape well.
Occasionally, Uniqlo X JW Anderson has good pieces.
I try to buy H&M Premium Quality on sale. They tend to use silk or linen or other natural fabrics.
Muji has nice French linen apparel during summer, even pyjamas.
I find that these brands/lines tend to be quite basic and non-trendy.

I’ve been buying cloth and having clothes made for me. It’s a lot cheaper, the clothes look great and they last forever. Having said that, I know it isn’t necessarily a viable option. Depending on what country you live in depends on how much you’d pay to make something. I certainly couldn’t afford it if I lived in the West.
