Gold Rolex or Chanel j12 with diamond markers?

Have you watched the Blind Side ? Sandra Bullock has both throughout the movie, and I much prefer the J12. I do love the loose look of a ladies datejust though !

Between those two I would get the Rolex. It is going to be a better made watch and will last a lifetime. While the J12 is very much in fashion right now, I don't think it has the staying power of Rolex. They have a proven history.

Rolex's are great watches & do hold their value, probably better than anything in the industy.

But I've been looking at them for 20+ years & I'm so over them. They look so out dated to me now.

Hi D! I would say the Rolex for sure... ultimate watch IMO. My dream one is the rose gold/stainless steel with diamond markers! My mom's gold/diamond marker/bezel Rolex is simply mesmerizing and if I could afford to buy my own, I would (although at this point, I'm happy borrowing hers). If you want a more casual watch though, I'd get a mid-size gold/stainless steel anyday over the J12... aesthetically, I just prefer the Rolex and it fits my style far better. I prefer the ladies size though for a Rolex. It depends on what works for you though!

Between the two, I prefer a Rolex two tone watch (either 18kt rose gold or 18kt yellow gold) with diamond markers and jubilee bracelet. It's just more my style than a j12.

I agree but the one I want is 22k. sigh. I think I might need to look at ss, but I love the 18k gold.
