Ok. The one on the bottom is the one I had for 10 years and it still doesn’t really need reglazing. This def not normal wear and tear. You can also see the older one has other signs of heavy use like the paint peeling and so on. No such signs on the new one. Because it hasn’t had heavy use. I think I’ll bring in the old one for comparison.
Yes, this is very good, take it with you. To be honest, the bottom one exactly looks like how a typical "worn" edge should look. My agenda had similar looking edges after 7 years. The top one looks very suspicious in comparison.
Please keep us updated. I really hope that they will reconsider their offer.

Here is my recent experience: I had glazing issue in my 6key ring holder in monogram canvas. I purchased it back in 2018 and used it everyday . And the corners at the bottom started peeling off. The store quoted $120 for the repair, I was upset but accepted the price back in July. 10weeks later I received an email to pick up, and they reglazed it and made it complimentary. Just for your reference

Did you payed it ?

I hope it’s ok to post this. But I’m having glazing falling apart on my October 2019 Mon Monogram wallet.

i went to the store and they said there was no warranty. I guess it’s been maybe 10 years since I last bought anything like this and I thought there was a 2 year warrant. They also said it was $125 to do the reglazing I want to know if that’s accurate and normal these days and this kind ofglaze damage on a wallet that doesn’t really get used that much is normal. My wife got a new multiple about 3 months before I got mine and she doesn’t have this issue in hers.

What is the exact date you bought it?

Go to the store and ask SAs what they can do. I had a Victorine wallet that I purchased in Rome that had sticky glue in the card slots and Brookfield NYC gave me a new one. It was probably 6-8 months after I bought it and my purchase was still in the system.
Good luck

Hello everyone,
I have a similar issue with my zippy wallet. I purchased it this July, barely used it, and the glazing is peeling off: IMG_6700.jpg
The other side looks perfectly fine:

Am I being too picky? :confused1:

The experience with the 2 wallets I have is that the glazing starts falling apart right away. One was from 2011 and the other one was from 2013. For both I was told it was wear and tear and the price to redo the glazing was $120. It has to be more now. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t buy more wallets. I never had them reglazed because I don’t think you can just keep reglazing them over and over and it was going to fall apart right away again.

OP, how did you get on with this? Have you any update yet?

I had an issue with a Brazza wallet years ago which developed a fault with the glazing after only a few weeks of light use. It was sent for complimentary repair (though really on reflection it should have been replaced there and then) and I was without it for several weeks, only for it to come back and happen again a couple of weeks later. The store then insinuated it was my fault and could have been overstuffed — not true, I had one card in each slot, rarely carried cash and NEVER used the coin compartment. I had to argue back and forth with the manager and eventually get head office involved before they offered to refund or replace it for me. I switched it for the original model zippy compact wallet instead and I’ve been using it for years without issue. I have also now got three other Brazza wallets and have never had any issues with any of them. Yet LV insisted the one I had years ago was not defective. Sometimes you have to fight when you know you’re right!

It could be defective or they may be able to re-glaze it and solve the issue. I also had to have an agenda refinished at the fold in the centre, and it was fine for a couple of years but it has split again at exactly the same part. I haven’t had it fixed again yet but I suspect with this style it will keep happening every so often.

Thank you guys!

I followed your advise here. I took it in during the day to a less busy location.

As advised I brought in my older wallet to show that the older one was in better shape and that my wife’s wallet purchased at the same time was perfect. They took it and didn’t charge!

she did remind me that it was a one time courtesy but I’m happy. I also got my 4key cles in and she didn’t charge the full $120 on that. She said it was cause it was small and she could put it through as a small item for less.

my advise if this happens to you bring In proof from other items that you have that are in better shape it made the case much easier and much harder to deny.

again thank you all for your great advice!
