So, as an update, I did return the Pandora today. I didn't ask to buy the floor model because I looked back at the photos I had taken of myself wearing the bag, and I'm just not sure I like the way the Panda looks on me. Which isn't to say I won't re-buy in the future, because I love the functionality of the bag, but I will have to be more certain than I am now.

Then, I went over to Balenciaga ... :graucho:

I was planning on getting black with silver hardware, but they didn't have that combo and DID have this, Bleu Nuit with SHW. I have a thing for blue bags, especially ones that change color and look black in some light and blue in others. I'm going to take a couple of days to decide if this color is a keeper or if I'm going to see if they can order the black with silver. But I feel this style suits me better than the Pandora.

Stunning! Love the deep, chameleon-blue with the silver. And the Bal ME bags are similar to Pandora in the indestructable nature of the goatskin. Congrats- mod shots, please!!!

No "proper" mod shots yet, but here are a few pictures I took of myself wearing the bag (empty) at the store so I'd have something to look at while I was thinking about it. Unfortunately, the lighting is weird at Neiman's, which makes the bag look black and my skin look yellow!

I'm deciding between a black with SH Balenciaga Velo and a Small black with silver HW Pandora in goatskin.

I like both designs. I have 4 city bags and 1 Pepe leather medium Pandora.

I can't decide! I like both actually. I think Velo will be more functional, but I love the edginess of the Pandora.
