No problem! That is a good way to describe this plum colour - dark and neutral. This bag gets more compliments than any of my other bags. I love it so much that I got the mini sophia in plum patent as well. :tup:

Oh, no! Your response is going to hurt my bank account! I had been convincing myself not to pursue this bag. I picked up a Large Sophia parchment gathered leather and Abby bordeaux gathered leather in the past two weeks, and was trying to take a little break... but I don't have anything patent and it is the rainy season in Florida... the justification for buying continues... :smile1:

:giggles: Well, a rainy day bag is a must :graucho: I think we share the same tastes in handbags. I really love my gathered leather as well. You're very lucky to have a large gathered sophia! Those are amazing bags!! I've never seen one irl. I wish Coach still made them.

I hope you get a good deal on the plum patent ~ I know you'll love it as much as I do!!

I think we do have the same taste in bags- I love all of your top 5, but that Plum Lindsey just stood out to me because of the one for sale. I just went to check my closets to see what would go with the plum and I just might have found enough to make the bag worthwhile.

I lucked into the large Sophia- poorly listed on eBay. I do love it and I've been carrying mine every day since I got it!. I hope you find one for a good price!

I have the plum patent Sophia and it is one of my favorites. You will love the color. It is deep and rich.

You're both making such a good case for this bag. I suppose I'll head to Dillard's in the morning and check to be sure the Lindsey works for me size-wise and if so, try to get the plum patent. I'm not sure if I'm happy or sad about this... ;)
