Tom did not know Bridget was pregnant when they split.. I think she announced it 3 months after.

Exactly. Supposedly the baby wasn't knowingly part of the picture when they split so in that case it's a completely different situation. Also, there were plenty of people saying Bridget purposely tried to get pregnant without his knowledge when she could tell the relationship was going downhill to keep a hold on him, so the story can be spun negatively either way. In the end, they know the truth and as long as the kid is happy and loved by both parents, that's what really matters.

I'm happy for Tom and Gisele, they seem like a good couple.
