- i think that massive of a house is at odds with her environmental stance however she did say that it is all made from recycled materials and powered by solar panels.. so in that sense who knows it may be just as efficient!

I'll never understand why rich people feel the need to have 22,000 sq foot homes. Nobody needs that much space. It has to be more a burden than anything. I don't care how much money i have, i would never buy a home more than 4,000 sq ft. I feel like celebrities only buy those mansions to show off how much money they have. There is no other reason...having a house that big is not practical, especially when you have young children.

Maybe they have a lot of guests over...maybe they like to entertain? Really, why does it matter what other people do with their own money? People can say the same thing about designer purses. Hmmm...
