I don't think it is a big deal. People get really heated when it comes to sports and imagine being right in the middle of it! That's too bad they caught it when she was talking to a friend though. The media totally blows things out of proportion.

It's kind of hard to explain why what she did was wrong (especially if you aren't really into sports) but I will try.

For starters, she isn't on the team and she doesn't have any right to criticize the teammates or their performance. She is a football wife, so her job job is to keep her mouth shut and support her husband off the field. Anything she says is an extension of her husband, so whatever she says kinda boomerangs back to him. He would be in deep shiznit if he made those kinds of remarks about the guys he has to play with next season.

Building onto that, her husband is arguably one of the best quarterbacks ever and here she is blaming the team's loss on the receivers. :nogood::tdown: If he is so good, you can certainly make the argument that there is no reason the receivers shouldn't have made those catches. Let's be honest, if the ball was thrown on target and just perfectly, they would have caught the ball. So for her to blame the loss on the receivers and more or less absolve Tom of any part of the loss, is just classless.

All in all it comes down to what she said was beyond stupid. Her husband is the QB. He's the leader of the team. So if the team wins, he's golden. But the flip side of that is, if the team loses, he suffers the brunt of that too.

ETA: Just saw what HauteMama posted and that certainly adds to all of it.

AWWWW.... Giselle.... she's such a good wife.... cryin' for her man and all....

aovtsj.jpg

omg it looks like she is yelling at the owner!!

Oh that's a shorter answer ... because she's a douche. And it's just another case of her running her mouth. Again.

Yes, yes he did. He left Bridget Moynahan when she was 3 months pregnant to be with Gisele. And Gisele has gone on and on about the joys of being a stepmother to Jack and how it's the same as being his mother.
Yep, and I loved how she didn't let him in the delivery room, nor give her son his name. He didn't even want to own up to being the father at first....And then with Giselle all of a sudden he's the doting father. Whateva.

and also tom was there for his son's birth.. has moved out to LA to be closer to him and built a home there and Bridget used his name for her son's middle name- so they can't be that bad off
Nope, she did not allow him in the birth.may have been there, but she did not allow him in for the birth....I do remember reading that cause there was alot of drama and write up about it.

IMO whichever way you slice it, that video of what she's saying makes her sound like a sore loser.. AND she wasn't even playing!

There were people around, cameras, cell phones, other recording devices... she really can't be THAT stupid.

This is being blown so far out of proportion it's ridiculous. What she said was the truth (Welker's dropped pass was awful and quite possibly cost the Pats the game right there). Anyone who knows football knows that there were several dropped passes before the Giant's last drive that were inexcusable and contributed to the loss. Was Brady perfect, no, but like she said, he can't throw and catch the ball. Now she shouldn't have said it, but I just can't believe everyone is going off on her for venting to a friend. These games mean a lot to the family too. They support their men for an entire season and want the win just as badly. When there is a loss they have a right to be disappointed too. I just think she deserves a little break during a moment of weakness. I mean heck, she's only human.

I agree
and now I can add not liking her because she is a poor sport with a bad temper. Sorry but when you're a VERY privileged person in the public eye you need to control your mouth. I'm sure this is an embarassment to her husband......not that I'm a fan of his either for the reasons stated.

yeah, That little incident.....that's part of why I don't care for her nor him.

She was venting to a friend, in an airport, surrounded by hecklers and being videotaped. Bad judgement, I'd say. Pats folded and the better team won. It's not any players wives job to blame his fellow teammates for losing the game. It was in poor taste IMHO and I am sure Brady is embarrassed and it has prob created some riff with his teammates (unless they're able to see through her bratty rant). Pats had an awful first quarter (for the Pats). Giants beat them for the 2nd time in a superbowl with Eli and with some pretty amazing catches. Giants didn't win bc of Pats dropped passes. They played a better game. Period.

She prolly didn't know that she was bein' videotaped because the person who filmed it was filmin' off of their phone..... I don't think it was right for them to heckle her though.... sports is never that serious.... well not to me at least....

Idk. The person with the camera/phone was clearly in front of her all the way down the hall. Yes, she turned at the elevator but it's hard for me to think she didn't know.

It's a TEAM sport. The TEAM lost. She should know very well that if you're famous someone is there recording, taking pics, whatever all the time. Especially if your husband just lost the superbowl.

I think it was one of those comments that she wanted people to hear without talking directly into a camera. You know when you want someone to hear something and you say it loud enough for them to hear but not directly so it's obvious.
