Whenever she talks, she reminds me of people that think they're intelligent and try hard to sound intelligent, but end up sounding ridiculous. She has no self-awareness. Some of my friends in the entertainment industry are very much like this. Contrast this with someone like Kate Upton that doesn't feel the need to try so hard to prove that they have a few working brain cells.

cant stand Giselle, but she's probably right this time and it needs to be talked about
She might be, but not by the spouse. To quote her, " I mean, we don't talk about." I wouldn't like it if my spouse started talking about my job/profession on national TV, especially if we hadn't discussed the concern.
Don't forget he never missed a game due to concussion and that is league rules now.
So she opened a huge can of worms.

You sure about that with Kate Upton? She is rude as hell and attacked the Cy Young winner that had not said a word because her fiance came in second.

No, not sure at all. I'm not much of a fan of either, but haven't heard Kate Upton criticize other women during/after pregnancy or decide to "educate" people about diet, breastfeeding, politics, football, etc. It just seems like she's slightly less self-important than Gisele, but that may change with time/fame. As a thin, fit, healthy, middle-aged physician, I give a big eyeroll to people that try to speak with authority about something they know nothing about. The bull$h!t just oozes out of this one.

oh I agree with you she's got a big mouth so it wouldn't surprise me if she just said it without discussing it with bradt..but I still think it needs to be discussed

They can both zip it. Upton can be a jerk too. I knew Gisele was off when she criticized the offensive linemen. One wrong move by them and it's a wrap.

To her defense it was minutes after the Super Bowl when the Patriots lost and the reporters were hounding her about her Tom's performance at the stadium. She was just defending her husband. It's a team sport but it wasn't his fault but with QBs when the team wins they're praised, when the team loses they're blamed.

She is not on the team and she was wrong.

She was wrong. She and Tom have both admitted it. Tom said she confessed about it to him later that night and felt bad.

I remember vividly the whole scrum of cameras that were chasing her out of the stadium and heckling her about how much her husband had sucked and how he'd caused the team to lose the game. And then I remember her finally turning around and blurting it out.

It was a human moment. It's not like she was lying around her mansion and decided to call up the media to discuss how bad everyone on the team is except her husband.

Gisele's big mouth is a blessing and a curse. She gets in trouble because she routinely says stupid things, but her big mouth/personality is also why she's always stood out as a model.

I agree with the above a "human moment." But she is a high profile person married to a high profile ball player. She understands how the media works. She would have been better off saying, "Tommy has a cold and that's why it wasn't one of his best performances."

But to blame it on his team mates, that exposes how she deals with conflict IMO.

She often speaks before she thinks. I still shake my head at the time she blamed his teammates for losing a Super Bowl. IMO she should not talk about anything football related.

She is desperately trying to get TB to retire and I would not be surprised if she thinks these types of comments will help. If she wasn't always thinking of herself, she may have noticed the struggle that elite athletes have walking away.

She had no business blaming anyone, esp his teammates. He never publicly criticized them, why should she? He is the leader of the team, for better or for worse. Publicly criticizing teammates shows zero leadership skills. All she has to do is look around to see that no other wives do that.

Ok, rant over - I can't stand Giselle.

The New England Patriots gathered to celebrate their victory in Super Bowl LI over the Atlanta Falcons and to distribute the championship rings to the team.

Current and former members attended a private ceremony at owner Robert Kraft's home in Brookline, Massachusetts, Friday night to receive their bling.

Among the guests were head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen and tight end Rob Gronkowski, as well as players who have since moved on to other teams such as tight end Martellus Bennett and running back LeGarrette Blount.

In his announcement, Kraft said that in honor of the Patriots' 'historic comeback win', when they were down 25 points and still went on to win the game, they 'created the biggest Super Bowl ring ever made'.
