My partner and I specialise in selling high-end watches (vintage, modern, new, used...) basically anything that's authentic and well... not on the cheap side!

So what's on everybody's wrist tonight?? (Apart from the latest LV, Fendi, Chloe etc. LOL!) What's hot, what's not??

Thanks for the reply Sternchen (German?)! Really appreciate it - as you can see, I fall in the 'newbie' category, which is a wee bit intimidating - haven't been on a new forum in quite some time! :sweatdrop:
On the wrist tonight: an Omega Seamaster white dial, gift from partner and much loved!

I usually don't wear a watch but I still think I need to own a proper on. Lately I'v been thinking of getting a Jaeger LeCoultre Joaillerie Reverso Duetto Classique in stainless steal and croc strap. I like that you get two watches in one and that one side has diamonds but not the other.

I can't ever wear watches or bracelets or anything on my wrist for that matter...minus a hair tie. Always have one lol. But I always have my phone, so my phone is my watch :p

Sternchen: I was born in Germany (in, and please don't laugh lol, Bottrop) - I moved back in 2003 and lived/ worked in St. Pauli in Hamburg - missing atm: Milchschnitte (always), Torte (can't get decent cake here in NZ), Broetchen (fresh from the bakery on a Sunday morning... with Nutella, jam, cheese... anything really!). I used to be afraid of wearing an expensive watch, my partner got me over that one - realised after a while with him that disasters do happen, but that most of them can be 'cleaned' up! IMHO: life's too short not to own something nice - be it a watch or bag!
Frostedcouture: can we swap? I own an ancient Motorola... No? ;)
Mediana: Jaeger LeCoultre... very, very, very nice...!!

Tricia - with you on that one - have long hair and go nuts without a hair tie on my wrist or in my bag - especially as we get some serious wind here from time to time, long hair's a big PAIN in the proverbial when it's windy!!

hehe, why would I laugh? :smile1: I've never been to Bottrop before but I heard that whole area is very nice with the cities and all! I live in Bavaria, about 30km outside of Würzburg (toward Nürnburg on the A3)

I absolutely LOOOOOOVE Milchschnitte!! They were actually on sale yesterday and I've got a pack of 10 in my fridge :p

Oh! You are kidding me right? You've got a pack of TEN in your fridge?? I am beyond jealous... My mouth is actually watering!! And I only said not to laugh, because everyone else I told actually DID laugh - and believe me, I don't blame them! Bottrop is very Ruhrgebiet - ie. lots of grey blah scenery and the most exciting store is Karstadt... lol!

I saved up the money for a Tag Heuer link watch about 6 years ago. It's got a lilac-ish mother of pearl face and diamonds around the face and one diamond for every five numbers. It cost me a lot, but I got a really good deal on it becase I paid cash. I literally never take it off. I sleep, bathe and swim in it. It bugs my husband because I don't take it off when I sleep.

Ruhrpott rules!!! :yahoo: :graucho:

Girl from Hagen here  It's such a small world ....

Regarding the watch question: No watch for me :shame: I really want a white J12 with diamond markers but for some reason I've lost so many watches that I probably never will end up getting one :sweatdrop:

GirlFriday: cash is definitely the way to get a good deal, I always tell people to go for that one if they can  - I know the TAG Link you're talking about, it's stunning... I like TAG because they're truly Avant Garde - they're always a step ahead of the pack. Cool and very stylish watch - don't blame you one bit for not taking it off at night!!
